DEVELOPMENT OF AN AUTOMATIC TRAIN SIGNALLING SYSTEM TRAINER USING EMBEDDED SYSTEM

									Abstract
This paper presents the design and development of a train simulator equipped with an Automatic Signalling System for educational purposes. The simulator is built using an Arduino pro mini development board as the main controller and incorporates various components, including a 2-meter rail track, pantograph, LED lights for a 4-aspect color light signal system, limit switches, DVR8825 stepper motor driver, and stepper motors to drive the train head. The prototype demonstrates the principles of automatic railway signalling and provides an interactive platform for students to understand the operation of electric trains and signalling systems. Development of this trainer will help students understand the simple principles of Automatic railway signalling system.
