Editorial and Journal Policies
Publication Frequency
The journal operates on a dynamic publishing model that merges the benefits of both scheduled and continuous publication. Articles are published online as soon as they successfully complete the rigorous peer-review process, receive acceptance, and undergo thorough proofreading and meticulous copyediting. This approach ensures that high-quality research is shared promptly with the academic community while maintaining the structure of periodic issues.
Why Quarterly (Continuous) Publishing?
This innovative model allows for the rapid dissemination of valuable research, minimizing delays in sharing new knowledge. At the same time, it retains the advantages of periodic issues, which curate and highlight significant contributions, providing readers with a structured overview of advancements in the field.
Submissions
Terms of Submission: By submitting a manuscript, authors affirm that the work is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal. The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the article’s publication has been approved by all the other coauthors. It is also the submitting author’s responsibility to ensure that the article has all necessary institutional approvals. It is a condition of submission that the authors permit editing of the manuscript for readability. All inquiries concerning the publication of accepted manuscripts should be addressed to editorial@taapublications.com.
Concurrent Submissions: Submissions must not be under review by any other publication simultaneously.
Copyright, Licensing, and Permissions
Copyright Policy: Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the article under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY 4.0).
Licensing Policy: All published articles are open access and distributed under the CC-BY 4.0 license, allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
Permissions: The use of general descriptive names, trade names, trademarks, and so forth in this publication, even if not specifically identified, does not imply that these names are not protected by the relevant laws and regulations. The submitting author is responsible for securing any permissions needed for the reuse of copyrighted materials included in the manuscript.
While the advice and information in this journal are believed to be true and accurate on the date of its going to press, neither the authors, the editors, nor the publisher can accept any legal responsibility for any errors or omissions that may be made. Archiving
To ensure long-term preservation and accessibility, the journal participates in the following archiving systems:
- PKP Preservation Network (PN)
- LOCKSS
- CLOCKSS
- DOI: All articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for permanent accessibility.
Plagiarism Policy
Any manuscript found to contain plagiarized content will not be considered for publication. The journal strongly opposes the practice of any type of plagiarism. The journal routinely screens article submissions for plagiarism. If found in any published paper after an internal investigation, a notification would be immediately sent to all the authors, their affiliated institutes and funding agency, if applied and subsequently the paper will be retracted. Authors are expected to adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity. The journal also advises all authors to read and follow the COPE guidelines on how to avoid plagiarism and deal with plagiarism allegations.
Peer Review Process
The journal employs a double-blind peer review model to ensure fairness, impartiality, and the highest standards of academic rigor. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to eliminate bias and maintain objectivity. All submissions are evaluated by independent experts in the field, who assess the manuscript's originality, methodological soundness, clarity, and contribution to the discipline. Based on the reviewers' feedback, the editor-in-chief makes the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection. This robust review process ensures that only high-quality, impactful research is published.
Funding Disclosure
Authors must disclose all sources of funding for their research, including grant numbers and institutional support. This information will be published alongside the article to ensure transparency. The publisher submits funding data to the Open Funder Registry, which is a funder identification service from CrossRef resulting from collaboration between scholarly publishers and funding agencies.
Ethical Policy
The journal adheres to the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to follow best practices in research and publication ethics, including but not limited to:
- Avoiding data fabrication and falsification
- Ensuring informed consent in human studies
- Properly crediting all sources and contributors
The publisher reserves the right to reject any manuscript that editors believe does not uphold high ethical standards, even if authors have obtained ethical approval or if ethical approval is not required.
Conflicts of Interest
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation. Conflicts of interest include financial, personal, or professional relationships that may affect objectivity.
Material and Data Policies
- Data Availability: Authors are encouraged to share data supporting their findings in publicly accessible repositories.
- Materials: Detailed descriptions of materials and methods must be provided to ensure reproducibility.
Appeals, Complaints, and Ethical Concerns
The publisher follows the COPE guidelines for handling appeals, complaints, and ethical concerns. Authors or readers who wish to raise an issue should contact the editorial office, which will investigate and resolve the matter in accordance with COPE standards.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
To support open access publishing, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance. Waivers or discounts may be available for authors from low-income countries or those facing financial hardship.
These policies ensure the integrity, transparency, and accessibility of the journal, fostering trust among authors, reviewers, and readers.
