Author Guidelines

Preparing Your Manuscript

  1. Manuscript Language

Manuscripts should be written primarily in English. However, submissions in Arabic and French may be considered under special circumstances, subject to editorial approval. All manuscripts should maintain a high standard of language, and authors are encouraged to seek professional proofreading services if necessary.

  1. Manuscript Length

We offer flexibility in manuscript formatting, imposing no strict structure or limitations on length, tables, or figures. This allows you to present your research in the most effective manner without unnecessary constraints. However, we strongly recommend that articles should be written concisely.

  1. Article Template

While we offer Flexible Formatting, authors may also use the journal's official article template, which outlines the guidelines for preparing your paper, covering layout and structure; abstract highlights and keywords; accepted format for tables, figures, and data sources; and reference style. The template can be downloaded here.

Manuscript Format

All manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). Other file formats will not be accepted.

Manuscript Organization/Structure

There is a generally accepted and widely followed structure for a standard research article in academic journals. While variations can occur based on the type of article (e.g., original research, book review, review article, discussion note, case study) and the specific guidelines of a particular journal, the following structure is commonly used:

  1. Title Page – Includes the manuscript title, author(s) names, affiliations, and contact information for the corresponding author.
  2. Abstract – A concise summary (150-350 words) outlining the research background, objectives, methods, results, conclusions and recommendations.
  3. Keywords – 5 to 10 relevant keywords for indexing purposes.
  4. Introduction – Provides background information, research objectives, and significance.
  5. Literature Review – A critical analysis of relevant existing research that establishes the foundation for the study.
  6. Methodology – Details the research design, materials, and methods used.
  7. Results – Presents findings with appropriate tables, figures, and statistical analyses.
  8. Discussion – Interprets the results, comparing them with existing literature.
  9. Conclusion – Summarizes key findings and suggests future research directions.
  10. Statements and Declarations – Includes funding sources, conflicts of interest, author contributions, acknowledgments, and any other relevant declarations.
  11. References – Lists all cited works in accordance with the journal’s citation style (i.e., APA).
